GSTS RRN training course – top marks from every delegate

GSTS takes pride in maintaining a dedicated in-house training function – ensuring our officers are equipped with the most up-to-date and appropriate skills for their roles. It also allows us to deliver tailored training that reflects the realities of the environments we operate in – including complex healthcare settings such as the UK’s largest NHS trust.

Our latest GSTS RRN training course earned outstanding feedback. Every delegate gave the highest possible rating for both the course and the trainers.

The course took place on 30 May and was led by Barry, Robert and Ben – all experienced members of the GSTS team. Barry and Robert recently qualified as Registered Trainers, adding even more strength to our in-house team.

Delegates praised the friendly atmosphere. They also found the content practical and relevant. Feedback included:

I really enjoyed the training and it helped me improve my technique. Trainers were also amazing.

The refresher course helped sharpen my skills. Great trainers – would recommend.

Absolutely a great way to get the job going smoothly. Trainers were at the top of their jobs.

Ben is a great guy, Barry great guy, Robert great guy. I love how they put in their best to make sure we understand and have the best training.

Very enjoyable. Information was clear, practical and easy to understand.

The GSTS RRN training course is part of our wider in-house training offer. It’s designed to reflect the real environments our officers work in. We deliver all training ourselves. As a result, our officers learn techniques that are relevant and up to date.

The Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) is a national initiative. It promotes safer, more respectful approaches to restrictive practices. The RRN training framework is certified by Bild ACT. This ensures that frontline staff receive the right skills for the settings they work in. Our courses support high-risk healthcare environments, including Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) – the UK’s largest NHS trust.

We deliver a wide range of specialist courses, from refresher training to advanced modules in conflict management and physical intervention. Because our training is developed in-house, we can adapt content to meet the specific needs of each NHS trust or healthcare setting.

We’re proud to receive this kind of feedback. Moreover, we know it reflects the care and quality we bring to every session. If you’d like to book a GSTS RRN training course for your team or organisation, get in touch or visit our training services page to find out more.
